3M™ VHB™ Tape 4905 is a 20 mil thick clear, double-sided, pressure-sensitive, acrylic tape with a polyethylene (PE) film liner. It is comprised of closed-cell foam with pressure sensitive adhesive on two sides. This unique combination offers benefits that screws, rivets, welds and other types of mechanical fasteners just can’t match. Used primarily for sign and display fabrication because it provides high strength while also being clear. It bonds high surface energy substrates. Provides handling convenience, cushioning, damping, and impact resistance.
