Threadlockers

LOCTITE® 567 is a white, 1-part thread sealant designed for the locking and sealing of tapered metal pipe threads and fittings. As an anaerobic-curing thread sealant, it cures when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. Its high lubricating properties prevent galling on stainless steel, aluminum and all other metal pipe threads, and allows ease of disassembly. The product offers high temperature performance and oil tolerance. And it tolerates minor surface contaminations from various oils, such as cutting, lubrication, anti-corrosion and protection fluids.

LOCTITE® 5113 is an off-white, smooth, solvent-based paste for general purpose metal pipe sealing. Typical applications include lubricating and sealing threaded pipes, pipe fittings and flanges. Ideal for water pipes. Can be used on lines carrying alkalis (10%), ethylene glycol, petroleum and lubricating oil. It can withstand temperatures ranging from -59.8°F to +300.2°F (-51 °C to +149 °C).

LOCTITE® 262 is a red, general purpose, medium to high strength, thixotropic methacrylate-based adhesive. Steel fixture time is 15 min, brass 8 min and stainless steel 180 min. It fluoresces under UV light to allow monitoring. Ideal for applications where any migration of the adhesive must be prevented. Can tolerate slight contaminations of industrial oils. Suitable for all metal fasteners.

LOCTITE® 263 is a red, high-strength, primerless threadlocker for permanently locking and sealing bolts, nuts and studs to prevent loosening due to vibration. It works on all metals, including passive substrates such as stainless steel, aluminum and plated surfaces without the use of primer. Suitable for use on most oil-coated, “as-received” fasteners without cleaning.

LOCTITE® 290 is a green, medium-high strength threadlocker designed for the locking and sealing of threaded fasteners. Because of its low viscosity and capillary action, the product wicks between engaged threads and eliminates the need for disassembly prior to application (also referred to as wicking grade threadlocker). The product cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage due to shock and vibration. Because of its flowable properties, the product is also suitable for sealing porosities in welds, castings and powdered metal parts.
